1. UV Resistance Test

Purpose: To assess whether the product undergoes discoloration after prolonged UV exposure.

Duration: 365 hours (equivalent to 3 years of actual usage).

Equipment: Two UV fluorescent lamps + one solar simulator (250–400nm spectrum)

Result: Color difference (ΔE) less than 2 is considered acceptable → Passed

2. Grip Strength Test for Shower Door Seal Strip

Purpose: To evaluate whether the shower seal strip is likely to fall off during regular use by testing its grip strength.

Duration: Room temperature (25°C)

Equipment: 

  • Force gauge
  • Nylon cord
  • 8mm thick tempered glass

Result: Pulling force ≥ 50N (≈ 11.2 lbf) is considered acceptable → Passed

3. Thermogravimetric Analysis

Purpose: Validate material stability in high-heat, dry environments.

Duration: 72h heating + 16h conditioning

Equipment: Oven @100 ± 1°C, precision scale (0.01g)

4. Low-Temperature Resistance Test for Shower Door Seal Strip

Purpose: To evaluate whether the shower seal strip is likely to fall off during regular use by testing its grip strength.

Duration: 48 hours

Temperature: -20°C ± 2°C

Equipment: Electric blast drying oven (low-temperature capable)

Result: All tested samples retained flexibility and showed no signs of damage under low-temperature exposure → Passed
